On Saturday 01.03.25 we present our “Schwälmer Buffet” with traditional dishes from the region. First you can enjoy a delicious homemade sausage broth soup as a starter. Then you can look forward to cold platters with selected sausage specialties from regional butchers and traditional farmhouse bread from the Gronowski bakery in Oberaula. Hot main courses include Schwälmer dumplings with sauce according to a traditional recipe, spicy marinated roast pork, crispy fried meatballs, Schwälmer Weckewerk and Schwälmer potato sausage. We also serve fried potatoes, boiled potatoes and of course various salads.

At 17:30 the “Schwälmer Stubb” opens its doors and around 18:00 the buffet is opened.

Then help yourself to our rich “Schwälmer Buffet” with regional delicacies and home-made dishes to your heart’s content! The meat for our dishes also comes from our trusted butcher and the animals come from within a radius of 20 km, which is very important to us in order to promote regionality and sustainability.

Enjoy freshly tapped beer from the private brewery Schalm Bräu from Treysa, good wine from the Schappert winery or a refreshing soft drink.

Our green salad made from lollo bianco, lollo rosso and oak leaf with its unique Urbachtal dressing as well as cabbage and bean salad with grandma’s sour cream sauce ensure freshness.
